Damn, you're good.

And I wonder if that program will play around here or in LA. Want to hear the Salonen, especially.

Lisa: doesn't look like any of the music will make its way west just yet. (Given the extra-curricular nature of the Johannes Quartet, they only perform together three or four weeks a year.) The concert was recorded by WGBH here in Boston, so you might be able to hear it soon through their website.

Thank you! I will keep an eye out for that.

To echo what Lisa H. wrote, damn, you're good, I love your reviews. To wit: Esa-Pekka Salonen, who famously moonlights conducting the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

*Sigh* Not for much longer. Goodbye Saariaho, Lindberg and other Scandanavians! Goodbye Messiaen! Goodbye [insert other Salonen favorites that Mr. Dudamel probably won't program]. Mr. Salonen's final season should be announced soon, I can't wait to see what's in store.

Out West Arts had a posting about the subscription prospectus he received. It's here.
