Much better title for the review than the one the Globe used, though I doubt that John and John had Il Commendatore in mind when they wrote that song.

You didn't mention the flood on Monday night that had the pit floor covered in about 6" of water by the end of the first act...

Six inches? Awesome. Another hour or so and you could have done Idomeneo. Has Levine sacrificed a goat for dry weather yet? He seemed ready to on Friday.
