(And I was thinking—if prices keep going the way they're going, my whole argument will be moot in about six weeks.)

Elaine: Sitting in a jam on West Street while watching students walk faster than you're going is pretty much a Tanglewood rite of passage, isn't it? I always thought someone could make a post-concert fortune wheeling a portable bar up and down the road.

I try not to criticize Tanglewood parking because it is free, but then again, I was always able to scam access to a restricted lot.Matthewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10936327293692397100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32354680.post-90958872559208916242008-06-26T00:17:00.000-04:002008-06-26T00:17:00.000-04:00The bus is a great value because you don't have to...The bus is a great value because you don't have to worry about parking and the frustration of waiting in line to exit the parking lot.Elaine Finehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14248422399226824168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32354680.post-76022175116333676302008-06-25T16:14:00.000-04:002008-06-25T16:14:00.000-04:00Fill up a couple of jerrycans to use later to brin...Fill up a couple of jerrycans to use later to bring your bill up to $50. Or combine Tanglewood with a road trip to Albany. (Why?)
It's easy to put $50 into your tank up here in Montreal, where gas topped $1.50 per litre last week. I scared myself when I did the conversion to U.S. gallons; that comes out to $5.68/gal. My little Hyundai Accent has an 11.8 gal. tank; I spent $53 for a fill-up a few days ago.
So, enjoy your cheap gas.Robert F. That's why I wish it was Gulf stations anywhere, not just the Pike rest stops.Matthewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10936327293692397100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32354680.post-44621013634252013742008-06-24T21:06:00.000-04:002008-06-24T21:06:00.000-04:00Yeah, but as long as your tank holds more than $50...Yeah, but as long as your tank holds more than $50 worth of gas, it doesn't matter if you use it all getting to and from Tanglewood. What's left would still be in your tank.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10388963918970548849noreply@blogger.com
